I’ve always loved a good set of headphones. Long ago I lost count of how many I’ve had throughout my life. My only purpose used to be for music, though now they can be just as useful for the latest Zoom meeting. Today I’ll discuss a really good one that also has an integrated microphone. An Amazon link is included should you want to order one and I’ll earn a tiny commission. Nothing was provided to me to write this.
The most important quality to me is sound and the Corsair Virtuoso Wireless Headset delivers in that area. It has a frequency range of 20Hz – 40,000Hz so you get everything from deep bass to highs well past human hearing. When connected via USB, you get 24bit/96kHz audio. Using the included software, you’ll get 7.1 surround sound. All in all, that makes for stellar sound!
For me, a microphone is an important component. I have several good options though I’m always looking for ways to get even better quality. This headset has an excellent microphone to capture broadcast quality sound. You may not look as cool on a Zoom call, but you’ll sound great!
There are three different ways to connect the Corsair Virtuoso headset. You can use the good old fashioned 3.5mm cord that’s been around for many years. To get higher quality audio, connect via USB. Lastly, it comes with a wireless adapter so you can skip the cords completely. Using the wireless adapter, you have a range of approximately 60 ft. The batteries last for about 20 hours between charges.
For those looking for a little extra flair, take advantage of the RGB lighting. Want to fine tune your sound? The included Corsair iCUE software allows you to control the surround sound to get exactly what you want. It even has controls for the RGB lighting.
Overall this headset delivers in every way and should be seriously considered by anyone in need of great sound, great microphone and lots of other powerful features.
