I’m not a gamer. But there are a lot of gamers and there are plenty of companies that market to that audience of gamers. Their products can be used outside of gaming, and that can be important for content creation. So if you game, great, we’ve got you covered. If you don’t game, we also have you covered as we talk about a headset. Yes, there will be Amazon links that earn me a few paltry pennies. No, I didn’t get anything else for writing this. Of course I hate having to write that on every post where I talk about a product.
The ASUS ROG Strix Go Core Moonlight White Gaming Headset has two main functions. First and foremost as headphones. While it is advertised as gaming, it can be used to listen to anything you desire. Music, movies, Zoom calls and much more fall into that description and it is designed to be comfortable on your head and ears for long periods of time. It connects via an included (and attached) cable with a 3.5mm headphone plug. While I don’t have personal experience listening, reviewers say that it does a good job with everything but deep bass.
There is also an included microphone that is detachable if you don’t need it for the task at hand. With this you can talk to other games, share your thoughts on Zoom, speak to friends and family on video calls or to record your voice for content you are creating. If you don’t want to use the included microphone, you could even plug in another microphone using the 3.5mm jack.
This is not the best of breed, but it delivers much more than its price. So if you are in the market for headphones or a headset, you should definitely consider the latest from Asus.
