My first exposure to the excitement of the World Cup was in the summer of 1982. I was living as an exchange student in France as they made a run to the semifinals. Things have grown drastically since that tournament and we now have the biggest tournament ever. Back in 1992, a group of us surrounded a fairly small TV to watch the games.
