The madness of March is under way with conference tournaments and the big dance starts next week. Today I wanted to salute the Harvard Crimson’s first berth in the dance of the crimson and blue of my Kansas Jayhawks with some fonts. The Crimson fonts are the first set we’ve made available in OpenType format. You can use these fonts in all your favorite software. If your software has the ability to work with the full character set, you’ll have access to discretionary ligatures, contextual alternates and more. Right now the list of software with that functionality is a very short list but we’re hopeful that more software will be added to the list in the future.
