Take a Free Trip to the Sistine Chapel

December 12, 2011

I’ve been lucky enough to visit the Sistine Chapel in person on two different occasions. Standing inside the chapel and experiencing the amazing artwork is truly breathtaking. The biggest downside is that you share with experience with hundreds of other people at the same time. While visitors are asked to be silent, it just doesn’t happen. Getting close to the artwork is extremely difficult and even capturing it on film isn’t easy since flash isn’t allowed.

So how would you like to experience it by yourself? How would like like to be able to get close to each of Michelangelo’s paintings? Best of all, how would you like to visit for free? That’s exactly what you get with the virtual tour of the Sistine Chapel. You can look around in every direction and zoom to any of the paintings. It may not be the same as being in Rome, but you’ll have a much better view of the chapel.
