Today I’ll share some computer speakers that provide good sound at a reasonable cost. Yes, there will be an Amazon link that earns me really small change if you use it buy something.
There are some fairly basic sounds on a computer. I’m thinking about error dings, email notifications, Facebook Messenger dings and numerous other sounds from basic software functions. They help you know when you’ve done something right or something has gone wrong. Some of you will listen to podcasts or your favorite tunes. Throw in YouTube videos and other streaming video. Being able to hear your computer is a must these days.
For some of you in a crowded office, you might be required to use headphones so the office doesn’t get crazy noisy. There are really inexpensive speakers that give you the basics and expensive speakers that provides amazing sound. I’m going to focus in the middle at something that keep costs down while providing good sound. For that, look to the Cyber Acoustics 62W 2.1 Stereo Speakers with Subwoofer.
Let’s look at the included components. First is the desktop control pod. It allows you to adjust volume or bass, turn the system on and off, plug in headphones along with an aux input jack. Throw in a couple of satellites each with 2 2″ drivers and a subwoofer with a 5.25″ down-firing subwoofer. No, it won’t be crazy loud but it does provide good sound for your computer.
