I remember as a kid using fireworks each summer to detonate something as simple as a soda can. Of course it was probably more dangerous than I thought at the time. Luckily I came away unscathed. Rather than using real explosives, how about blowing up your designs with the Detonator family of fonts. It includes six different fonts and admittedly I’m not sure how they relate to a real detonator.
