I hope all of you had an enjoyable weekend. Unfortunately mine was spent in front on the computer getting the finishing touches put on CorelDRAW X6 Unleashed. While it wasn’t a lot of fun, it is very close to the finish line. Of course it will be a crazy week in our office as we prepare product to send out to everyone who pre-ordered.

When I was done with the video tutorials, they totaled just over 13 hours. As they were recorded at a higher resolution than previous CorelDRAW Unleashed titles and there is more content, the DVD literally won’t hold a single minute more. Heck, I’m going to have to work hard to get everything to fit on the disc.

Every now and then someone asks me about the “value” of my CorelDRAW Unleashed DVDs. I got an e-mail a few days ago from another company selling a collection of video tutorials for 50% off. Even after this amazing discount, it was nearly $300 for 17 hours of video. And it doesn’t include the 630+ pages of detailed notes in PDF format we supply. That’s right, CorelDRAW X6 Unleashed costs 20% as much as the other product even after the other product was discounted by 50%. If you compare it to the original cost, it costs 10% of the other product!

This release has certainly taken much longer than I expected and I’m really excited about all the information I was able to cram in (with such a full disc, it does take some cramming to fit it all). There is no doubt in my mind that the detailed PDF and video tutorials can lead all levels of CorelDRAW users to increased productivity and profitability!
