Have you installed the 32-bit version of CorelDRAW X6? You should as it is most likely the best choice for you!
If you have been a loyal reader, you’ve probably read Is The 64-Bit Version of CorelDRAW X6 Right For You?. I encourage all of you to read it once again as it seems the message hasn’t been fully received.
I still hear from users regularly who are having problems with things “not working” in CorelDRAW X6 and every single time it is because they have installed the 64-bit version. What things may not work? I detailed them all in the post referenced earlier. In short they include scanning, plug-ins, macros and possibly more.
Are you stubborn and feel you must have the 64-bit version? Fine, install both the 32-bit and 64-bit. That is perfectly legal and it doesn’t cost you anything extra. Do me a favor and run the 32-bit version until you find something where you feel you need the “power of 64-bit”.
I seriously doubt you’ll see any difference in performance unless you are working with massive files. What you will find is that some of those things you find not working in the 64-bit working will still work just fine in the 32-bit version.
