Today is the first day over 100 degrees in the Phoenix area. This means most of the snowbirds have flown north for the summer. Even the die-hards are looking for ways to get to a cooler climate if only for the weekend. Folks in California even refer to us as “Zonies” since that is a common coastal destination. When I saw the name of today’s font, Zona Armada, I immediately thought of this summer migration. What does this have to do with the font? Not a lot, but it does appear as if the font is made up of ink splashed in the shape of the various characters. Download your copy and enjoy!
