Cave Creek Geek – In The Beginning

July 16, 2013

Cave Creek GeekA few weeks ago I told you Cave Creek Geek Is Coming Soon. Since I posted that blog, I’ve filmed a number of episodes of Cave Creek Geek. I hope to release a new video approximately once a week, though that could change if the number of episodes changes. And just in case you are wondering, they will not necessarily be released in the order in which they are filmed.

A perfect example would be the first episode now posted was probably about the seventh video filmed. It can be difficult to describe what is upcoming if you haven’t already done a few to know what is coming.

While I do have a basic recipe I want to follow with each episode, not every video will follow that recipe closely. I may be somewhere that lends itself to interviewing someone. Some locations will probably have a fairly short video while others will be longer. My general goal is for videos to be approximately 1:30 and 2:00 minutes in length.

I’m also very open to ideas you may have for future videos. Of course you can suggest I visit a particular location, but it may not be possible if you aren’t paying for the travel of getting me there. Typically I’ll be filming in locations where I already have travel plans for other reasons.

I do hope you find the videos entertaining. I want you to learn something from each video and maybe even be inspired by something I include. So come along on this journey with me and let me know what you think of each episode.

Good start for your first video. Just when I was thinking, boy he is moving his hands a lot your little pop-up came up saying “Why am I moving my hands so much” 🙂 I’ll have to pay more attention to newscasters and what they do with their hands when not holding a mike. Good job. Looking forward to future videos.
