Counter Top Ice Maker From Costway to the Rescue

November 14, 2018

Throughout my life, I’ve always had an ice maker in my refrigerators. I can’t tell you how exciting it was to get a new fridge that dispensed ice and water on the front of it. I probably didn’t realize how much I loved it until I didn’t have it any more. Only a few more weeks until I make my final move and my casa refrigerator does not have an ice maker. It requires filling trays to have ice. Today I’m going to share my solution. Yes, there is an Amazon link and I make a few pennies if you use it. No, I didn’t get a free ice maker.

One issue I found with nearly all standalone icemakers is unreliability. Yes, even my selection has some negative reviews as do all of the competitors. At some point you just have to choose one and hope it is reliable as the manufacturer claims. Another item to remember for this class of products is that they make ice, they do not store ice for long periods of time. Once you have ice made, it should be used or put in the freezer for later use.

I wanted something fairly small as I just don’t have a lot of counter space. Of course when you need ice, you want it right away. So finding something quick was also important. Throw in a good price and it led me to the Costway Counter Top Ice Maker Machine.

1.5 pounds of ice can be ready in 8 minutes! If you need more, just start another batch. At 9.5 x 14 x 12.9 inches, it is fairly compact and can be stored away when not in use. Picky about your ice cube size? It supports small, medium and large. If color matters, you have five choices. I went with the silver. Should you need more ice, give it a look.
