2019 Kindle Adds Front Light and Runs for Weeks

March 27, 2019

I have to admit I wasn’t a huge fan of reading books on a screen when the idea first appeared. Now I do almost all of my book reading on my tablet. The most popular device for pure reading is Amazon’s Kindle and today I’ll tell you about the newest version. Yes, I earn a small commission if you order using the included links. No, I haven’t gotten a free one.

For those of you looking for an experience as close as possible to a paperback book, this Kindle delivers. It is 167 dpi and reads just like paper even in direct sunlight. Yup, you can read it at the pool or beach. With the front light, you can easily read indoors or out even in the dark.

One of the greatest parts of a Kindle over a regular book is that you don’t have to carry around a pile of books. It stores thousands so you can choose what you want to read at any time. All of that in a device smaller than a regular book.
