My fiancé is preparing to do some online teaching and she asked me for some recommendations. Each of the products I reference will include an Amazon link. First, a headset was needed so that communication would be clear in both directions. Nothing fancy was needed, but I thought finding something lower profile would be best. The choice was the Logitech USB Headset H390 with Noise Cancelling Mic.

While she had a Web cam, it was ancient. In fact it was so old that Windows couldn’t even find drivers for it. Add that to the fact that she couldn’t find a way to attach it to her monitor and it was time for a new Web cam.

I have a Web cam I really like, though the exact model isn’t available now. So we went with one that is a slightly newer version of what I have and that is the Logitech C920S HD Pro Webcam.

Lastly, she wanted to get a wireless mouse. I’ve been using an Amazon mouse for a few years and it has worked for me and not eaten too many batteries. So I suggested she get the AmazonBasics Wireless Computer Mouse with Nano Receiver.

Now that she has all the computer tools needed for her online classes, the only thing left is to decorate the background so that it is pleasing to students. That is not my strong point and I’m sure she’ll do a great job with it!
