You’re sitting in a public place like an airport and your phone is running out of juice. Looking around, you see a USB port to plug in and juice up. But is it safe to do that? USB is designed to have wires dedicated to data and wires dedicated to power. Even though it may be unlikely, a public USB port could pull data from your device.
