Garmin Vívoactive 4 High-End Fitness Tracker

Garmin Vívoactive 4 GPS Smartwatch Fitness Tracker
June 10, 2020

I’ve had my Samsung Galaxy Watch for over a year and a half and I’m (Still) Loving My Samsung Galaxy Watch. Samsung has released some newer watches as have other companies. Today we’re going to look at the latest from Garmin as it might just be the best fitness tracker available right now. Yes, there will be Amazon links if you choose to purchase and I do get a puny commission. Beyond that, I was provided nothing to write about the watches.

You’ll find the Garmin Vivoactive 4 is at the higher-end of the price scale for smartwatches, but that’s because it packs a lot of power in an attractive form. There are two sizes, The Vivoactive 4 measures 45mm and is designed for wrists from 5.3-7.8 inches. The Vivoactive 4s measures 40mm and is made for wrists from 4.3 to 6.8 inches. It can last as long as 8 days in smartwatch mode, less than a day if you are using the GPS and/or playing music.

For those who want to track emails, texts and other alerts; it has you covered. Music can be downloaded to the watch and you can connect to Bluetooth headphones. There are more than 20 preloaded GPS and indoor sports apps to track your activity. It can track energy, includes a pulse oximeter, and measures other information like respiration, menstrual cycles, stress, sleep, heart rate, hydration and more.

The Garmin Connect app works on both iOS and Android devices so most everyone with a smartphone can use this smartwatch. For those who want to customize it, you can choose from a library of watch faces. For those looking for a smartwatch or looking to get a new one, this is definitely one you should include on your short list.
