That’s likely faster (even much faster) than what you have now, but it is not as fast as some other SSD drive.

Yes, the 8TB drive is expensive. But if you want a lot of fast storage, it is one of the best options available. If I were buying a drive for myself, I’d like go for either the 2TB or 4TB as they provide the best price/performance for what I need.
