Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip Controls Three Devices, Powers Five

Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip
June 30, 2021

Loyal readers know that I love to talk about ways to power devices and having the ability to automate devices. Today we’ll look at a device that provides both power and automation. I’ll provide an Amazon link to purchase and I do earn a tiny commission if you buy one. Nothing else was provided for this post.

I’ve written several times about Kasa Smart Plugs. Each plug allows you to plug in one device and control it with devices such as Alexa. The Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip includes three outlets that can be individually controled. As part of a power strip, it also functions as a surge protector. If you don’t want to control something with one of the plugs, you can simply use it for power.

There are also two always-on USB ports you can use to power devices. These ports can not be automated. Each of them provides 2.4 amps to connected devices. If you are looking for a new power strip and want to automate connected devices, this is a very good option!
