One of the forces that drive me forward is viewing SEO as a competition. It is a contest with sophisticated rules between Google, my competition and me. The winner is the most popular and more relevant site with the highest rankings. The payoff is position, traffic and money.
So, if SEO is a competition, how can we keep score? Here are some SEO tools that will not only give you the score, but also help you identify why you aren’t winning. There are literally thousand of tools, so I have only listed the tools I use and rely upon to do my work.
